In truth, there are really no e-mail programs that are even close to being
invulnerable. The only reason Microsoft's products seem to have more
problems is because of the number of attackers concentrating their efforts
on Microsoft products. The Government and the news media have so demonized
Bill Gates and Microsoft that millions of people feel it is their obligation
to take down Microsoft any way they can. The attacks only strengthen
Microsoft, in the long run.

The people running other software should not deceive themselves into
believing that they have immunity from hackers, crackers, and virus/trojan
programs. They need to just sit back and relax in the knowledge that the
software they are running is not the object of a lot of unwanted attention
right now, mainly because it is not overly popular. If the majority of
people using e-mail switched to Pegasus, then the weaknesses of Pegasus
would be quickly exploited and the viruses, trojans, and worms would
continue to plague e-mail users.

Actually there are free ones as well. I use Pegasus Mail which is
bomb-proof
enough that I don't bother running anti-virus software.
