Mercedes introduced stability control in 1990 with the launch of the new S-Class. I drove a 600SEl with stability control and traction control on the test track at Stuttgart in October of 1990.

No production vehicles come to mind.....

in its most primitive form, Mercedes-Benz introduced modern ESC 1995
on the W140 S-Class.

...and how many Diamants & W140 S class were sold ?
