Hi gang ... Since signing on to this list I've learned quite a bit about photography. Even though I had a darkroom years ago, a couple of shows, and ran through a dozen or more rolls of film per week, and thought I was good, this list showed me how much more I had to learn. The quality of my negatives now, for example, is yards ahead of my earlier efforts. It seems that every month or so there's a new revelation, or a new insight.
A week or so back, while we were discussing darkroom design, Wheatfield made a comment about wearing light colored shirts in the darkroom, and now I only wear dark, long-sleeved shirts that reflect a minimum amount of light. I really don't know how important that is, but it makes me feel better. So, what have you all learned? What little tips are memorable and have helped you? What revelations have improved your work, or made it easier? Maybe I'll compile them and post 'em on my site. -- Shel Belinkoff mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.earthlink.net/~belinkoff/ - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
