I'd definitely go to the forum and see if others have reported similar issues. In the course of setting up to test it with the Epson R2400 printer on Snow Leopard yesterday, I connected an 8000 image file repository on an external hard drive and had it import that into its catalog. No problems at all, and it seemed faster than when I did the same thing with LR2.4.
