Modern Photography June 1981, page 117, in a test of Minolta CLE: "In the manner of 
Olympus OM-2 (whose off-the-film-plane metering system is based on a Minolta patent), 
the CLE`s meter cell is..." The late, lamented Mod Photo used to know what they were 
talking about and the statement above was never disputed.
