It wont work out of the hot-shoe/flash connection. It only records data whenever the shutter is fired. That's actuelly the beauty of the whole koncept :-)
Given that, as far as I can tell, Pentax cameras annoyingly refuse to fire the flash if you're above sync speed, does this work at higher shutter speeds?
