AFAIK, the 2000 version has much better (brighter) screens. Everything else 
should be identical, practically. However, I doubt anyone actually bought 
one for use. It's more like a collective item. Just purchase an used LX and 
got it fixed might make more sense. I am sure it will be much cheaper than a 
brand new LX2000 too.
