There is a new bridge over 280 in Cupertino/Sunnyvale. Everytime I see it from 85, when crossing 280, I'm tempted to photograph it. Last night on my way home from dancing, I decided to have a go at it, despite it being 3:30 AM.
I think that this is my favorite of the bunch: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/4104380054/ from http://www.flickriver.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157622679490895/ By about 5AM I decided that it wasn't worth waiting for dawn and was going to leave as soon as I finished the shot I was working on, when four college aged kids showed up with their cameras. I got a couple of decent, though not great shots of the guy photographing the three gals. The droid worked well for getting a geotag into flickr maps to hang the other photos off of. Amusingly, if one isn't interested in details like clarity, after processing some of the droid photos ended up pretty nice. -- The first step is learning to take great photos, the second step is learning to throw away ones that are merely good.
