About as much fun as driving a (trackless) trolley and having someone
hit a telephone pole downtown that breaks the wire that wraps around
that pole's grounded feed cover and shorts the transformer that feeds
the arm of the route that you are on when you've just left the outer
terminal at 9 AM on a Sunday morning. 5.5 hours sittin' in the middle
of the road, no radio, no iPod, trolley battery only last an hour, so
no communication after being told to sit and wait. Too hard to push a
15 ton vehicle to the curb.
Passengers all left after 20 minutes.
Do I hear little violins?
