BTW, The only problem with such variation is that different developers react differently to change in temperature. The basic agents like HQ, ... have different temp. characteristics. I have got in my old books a chart with the exponent for different developing agents, I'll try to find it. So for most precise work, I think developing at one temperature always using tempered water and water bath is the best way to go.
