Bob W, I'm sure you can google Mark Twain. He's a particularly American invention who was very prolific. Think of him as a one man 'Ponty Python's Flying Circus'. It's easy to believe he has more words in print that Shakespear, given his newspaper columns, books published for income, and public lectures. If Mark Twain shot pictures with a Pentax, his POV would make him the official satirist of the list. (Sorry Bill Robb, you'd have to step down.) Regards, Bob S.
