I bet somebody sneezed on him just as he was taking the picture. Maybe he'd do better worrying about the swine flue. ;-D


A similar phenomena was in one of the National Geographics this past year. The issue with Angkor Wat had a photograph taken in rain with slow sync & you could see where the drops fell further after the flash went off. Made it look like the rain was falling up.

One of those situations where rear curtain sync would have been useful.
