Thanks, Bob. I'll pass on your good wishes to Anne and my wonderful son-in-law.

As you can see from the smile on my face, it was one of the proudest
moments in my life. What made that my first dance with the bride more
special is that she picked the song Mercy Street by Peter Gabriel - a
song that the two of us used to sit together and listen to when she
was a very little girl. The lyrics of the song include:

"Looking for mercy
In your daddy's arms

Mercy, mercy, looking for mercy
Mercy, mercy, looking for mercy

Anne, with her father is out in the boat
Riding the water
Riding the waves on the sea"

I'd forgotten how we used to listen to that song together, and how
Anne loved it. It was so special when they started playing it at the
reception for our first dance.

And of course, my daughter Claire captured it all perfectly.

I don't think I ever thanked everyone for their comments when the
gallery was initially posted, so let me take the opportunity to do so
now.

Thanks, Bob, and everyone else who commented on that photo.

cheers,
frank
