Nope, there are no hip straps or anything. I prefer my backpacks this
way, as I never use hip straps and they end up just getting in the way.
meh; that seems to be the trend in backpacks these days, so i resort to
good quality hiking packs to carry camera & computer; but it's hard to
find ones that are laid out well
