Glad you like the series, folks. I plan to post, on average, one pic per day of landings. Some days had several memorable landings, so there's stuff that won't be covered. Some landings did not produce any outstanding, either.
Jack, regarding this image, I _muted_ the colours rather than inflating them. The K-7 expose to put the weight of the histogram as far to the right as it can. In situations where the contrast is lower than the CMOS sensor's latitude, it means the colours look a bit washed-out even though they're actually quite saturated. When reducing exposure and/or increasing contrast, it also becomes necessary to tweak saturation. Usually down. :-) Quite unfamiliar situation for me, a sucker as I am for strong colours. But the K-7 is one very cleverly thought-out camera, I think. To me it's Pentax best camera since 645ii.
