I don't think the build quality is bad overall. It is all plastic, but so are most meters, and I do not view plastic as evil. And it is necessary for light weight. But mine also died -- recently, after banging around with me for about 8 years. Cost about $100 to have repaired -- I think it got a new circuit board. I really missed it for the few weeks it was gone, though. I'll be happy if I get another 8 years out of it. :) - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
