I have the Tamron 90 in Nikon mount, bought new in 2006 i think. Its good, but along the same lines as my FA 100 macro. Some days it produces some good images and some days kinda soft images.
Having said that, i had only used it on the D200 in jpeg mode, which was always a struggle for me to get keepers. I have now switched to Raw, but have not used it since the switch.
