Absolutely spot on John! I'm using the AF1.7X adapter now and it doesn't make sense on the FA/DA glass. Get that high quality teleconverter back on the roadmap!
Otherwise, how about a DA 19mm f2.0... a digital replacement for the A28mm f2.0. Regards, Bob S.
