I know from long use the A*100/2.8 Macro is a great lens.
I have less experience with the D FA100/2.8 Macro and it's good too!
I expect the F and FA 100/2.8 Macros are extraordinary as well.
Maybe Pentax just wants to make a small waterproof adjustment to a good lens,
so all those new Pentax camera buyers can buy a great Macro.
Sometimes it's hard to remember we don't all have a stable of old throughbreds.
