I probably won't have a job when I get back from Oz in January. 1,100
people took the voluntary separation package which leaves another
1,400 to get axed early next year. They just opened 33 sysadmin
jobs... in India. I shoulda taken that package....
Don't feel too badly, I thought I was beyond the Axe after accepting a
large retention bonus. Three weeks after the last installment came due,
I was laid off...
