Well, I've been thinkin'...

I was really attracted to the K7 because of its smaller size, faster 
performance, more accurate metering, and artificial horizon.

However... I am really happy with my K10D, whose RAW low-light performance is 
actually a bit better (see dxomark.com), whose AF is adequate to my needs, 
whose quirky metering I understand, which has just under 20K exposures on the 
clock, and which is =not= the weak link in my photography (the "wetware" is).  

Besides, I'm a cheapskate.

So, I'm currently planning to sit back and wait to see what comes after the K7. 
 Unless, of course, I impusively change my mind.
