Like all the rest of you, I'm sure, I always celebrate December 25th as the birthday of the discoverer of the visible light spectrum. There's nothing like gathering around the calculus tree, exchanging gifts (to observe everyone's action and reaction) and later conducting some (alcohol-induced) experiments in the effects of gravity.
