Thank you, and thanks to everyone who has commented. That is a strange stone. There is no other writing on it - no mention of her name, dates or anything. The husband left plenty of room on the stone, presumably for himself, future wives, descendants and so on, but it remains blank. Perhaps he discovered the secret of eternal life and moved to Los Angeles.
