Thanks, Christine. That's a flash on a bracket with a flash extender on
top of th camera (and yes, that's me at the Indian river inlet in
Delaware. I used that same rig to shoot the parrots. The flash helps
to make the feathers really "pop" and to give them nice bright eyes.
