<<<. . .  the lens you have is actually a PK/R mount, meaning that it
was made by Rioch for Rioch cameras.  At some point in time (just before
the A series lenses I believe) Rioch purchased the rights from Pentax to
make their cameras with the K-mount . . . Rioch then developed their OWN
system for automatic aperture control independent of Pentax's automatic
aperture control.

   The result?  NEVER use a PK/R lens on an autofocus body.  many people
will tell you horror stories of having the lens get stuck, and having to
have it removed professionally.

   Many thanks.  At the end you say never to use a PK/R lens on an Pentax
Autofocus... so it is ok on a manual focus?
