<<<. . . the lens you have is actually a PK/R mount, meaning that it was made by Rioch for Rioch cameras. At some point in time (just before the A series lenses I believe) Rioch purchased the rights from Pentax to make their cameras with the K-mount . . . Rioch then developed their OWN system for automatic aperture control independent of Pentax's automatic aperture control.
The result? NEVER use a PK/R lens on an autofocus body. many people will tell you horror stories of having the lens get stuck, and having to have it removed professionally.
