I've never done it, so unfortunately I don't have any specific instructions on method. The meta data is probably formatted as a tag followed by the data I don't know what the proper data values for each tag would be to get acceptable results.

Thank you for your answer Mr J.P.Alling,
Could you change the Raw file in itself, changing the camera model for
instance, and be able to use the raw PEF file in Photoshop or Lightroom ? How
if it is possible? I can have access to the metadata using ExifTool but after
that, what do I do?

There are exif editors that will let you change meta data. Hell it's
just a file and data, you can do most anything within the specifications
even if it's against the "rules".

Hello everyone.
I did make a mistake in the previous post when I said that iPhoto made a
mistake about my camera. I had forgot that I did use the K20D also. So no
mistake there. No way to change the metadata about the camera who took the
picture. Am I right?
What could you do about those metadata and how? Is there someone on the list
who knows ?
But about the thumbnails and the PEF, there is always "Atomicview":
http://www.antzero.com/antweb/?lang=en&m=0&p=0
who IMHO is worth of a try.
The problem here is that the K7 PEF are not yet recognized as thumbnails in OS
X. Apple make some updates but not for the K-7. How long will we have to wait?
Where do we write to make the complaint?
Happy new year everyone!
