Thank you Paul for your input - can't make up my mind which one gives a stronger sense of distance - 1 and 3 are similar to me in terms of effect whereas 2 was an attempt to give the female a more dominant, self-centered place in the image; sky is a tad too dark though which doesn't really add to the image cheers ecke
