I got a ride with Mark in a borrowed 2-week-old street Vet at Limerock Park after a SCCA drivers school in, I believe, 1969. He did three laps in under 3 minutes as I recall and when he parked it in front of the timing tower, the radiator exploded. It's not something I'll soon forget.
