Nice, looks like it's made out of paua shell. I don't think I've seen these down my way, but it's not as if I'd generally give them a second look. About the most noteworthy things we have are wasps (they've nested in an old tree stump that we've yet to remove), and mosquitoes. The mozzies aren't as bad as they were last summer...
