A sensible strategy, Paul. I was distraught when I concluded that one of my 20mm lenses was probably 21 or 22mm. Then I realized that I could keep it and sell my other 20 and my 24. Fewer lenses to store, fewer to choose from, fewer to carry--who could ask for anything less?
I've just ordered three of Pentax's four A-series teleconverters. If you have fast primes, don't overlook TCs as a way to reduce your total carrying load.
