We are planning a trip to Rome in mid-February. I would appreciate any information from residents or those who have visited there recently in winter concerning weather, crowds, sights that might be closed or have limited hours, and other conditions that would differ from those of spring or fall.
For that matter, it has been several years since we were last there, so I would also appreciate recommendations and advice on accomodations, restaurants, things to do and see, and getting around.
