Chippy's is a fish & chip place a few doors down from my place. Ironically, the owner is vegetarian. Perhaps that's the reason the fries are done in a separate deep fryer from the fish. I have no idea how the fish is but the chips are amazing! It's open quite late on weekends for the after-hours crowd. No matter what time of day or night, the music is usually punk or metal and very loud. Here it is after dark one night:
