Which is an entertaining fad, but not by any stretch a new film camera. I think the GF670 might just be the ONLY new film camera of 2009, unless you count that 35mm TLR kit which came in a Japanese Science Magazine (which was frikkin cool btw). I can't think of anything else that was introduced last year (the only other recent introductions being the Bessa R4a/m, which is over a year old and the Hasselblad H2 Film, which is also a 2008 model IIRC). Cosina is pretty much it for 35mm production today, outside of cheap Chinese Minolta or Cosina clones. And there isn't much in the way of MF film stuff left (Mamiya 7II, the Hassy 503CX and H2 Film, the probably already out of production Mamiya/PhaseOne 645AFDIII and the GF670). Both Mamiya and Hasselblad are now primarily digital (645DF and H3D do not support film at all). -- M.
