Subject: RE: Very OT: Regulations for drinking alcohol

Hi all,
Would be interested in (briefly) what regulations there are
in your countries and communities. Is drinking alcohol
outdoors in public places allowed, or not?
Lasse

It's practically compulsory here.
Are they banning café terraces?
Bob

Sorry, I wasn't very specific.

A restaurant etc. with right to sell alcohol will still be able to serve it and customers allowed to drink it at an outdoors terrace or ground of that specific restaurant. It wouldn't be regarded as a"public place" in terms of this regulation, which mainly targets drinking in the streets, parks, beaches etc..
