I DO have my towel ready though.
We have been in touch with the company(Stock Transportation) that
wound up winning over 400 existing routes. The recruiter has told us
they will try and place as many of the drivers as possible and
hopefully keep us on the same runs. The runs total over 400 and to
hire and train that many is a challenge in its self, let alone find
400 buses.
Also have heard they may sub contract out so if that's the case there
should be no job losses, just pay cuts, but nothing to serious. I have
done the pay cut thing before to keep working and will do so again.
Thanks for all the notes of encouragement. This puts a serious dent
into my plan to help the economy buy buying a camera or lens
though.;-)

have any school bus runs for the 2010/2011 school year. Apparently the

bid every few years, and we were under cut on them all, except a few

See what the meeting has to offer, but we may have to call Stock and
see if we can get
on. The ex shop foreman who is a full time spare seems to think Stock
may call us to
offer the runs to us instead of training new people, but i find that
hard to believe.
I believe things happen for a reason, and we have weathered worse
storms, so hopefully we
can carry on driving, but with another company. We both like the bis
bus and would like
to carry on, but if not, we should find something.
Maybe i quit horse shows a year to soon.
