I was really considering the Kiev 88 a few weeks ago. After reading a number of reviews I figured that nowadays it's rare for a camera to get black marks right out of the starting gate. It wouldn't be worth my time to (hopefully) shoot some great shots and then find they were ruined by faulty equipment.
A used Pentax 67 would seem a good deal at twice/thrice the price, IMO.
