Hi Mike,
I can jump in here with some info, the mailers included with the film, can be sent to the original Kodachrome processing lab at Wimbledon. They are then forwarded to Switzerland for processing and then mailed direct from Switzerland to the return address in the UK. I have had about 10 films processed this way and the turnaround for the last batch (last week) was 7 days from posting to receiving. The new plastic mounts seem a touch slimmer, but not much. Frame numbers are embossed where previously they had been stamped. It also appears that there are less chances of dust getting onto slides in the Swiss lab. My only gripe is the mailing boxes are a bit tight for 38+ exposures, really tight with 40 from my rollei 35. Bob will be able to tell you about unmounted processing. All in I would still recommend any UK readers to try Kodachrome 64 (25 if you can get it!!), price I think is very competitive especially from 7dayshop for example GBP 5.50 per film !!!
