Old stuff? Drive 15 min east of downtown New Haven on I-95 and motor around
Guilford. Lovely old-style New England green, with church and period houses.
A mile or so away is a very photogenic harbor (with more yachts than fishing
boats these days, and not much of either this time of year).

A little further along I-95 is Hammonassett State Park, which has a huge beach
(by New England standards)--cold and almost deserted at this time of year, but
that has its photographic charm, too.

In New England things are usually allowed to fall down rather than being torn
down, so if you get off the beaten paths you will likely find old barns,
houses, cars, trucks, tractors, horses, factories, and people that are well
worth seeing and photographing.

(I lived in Philly for 28 years, but I grew up in CT, and it still feels like
"home").
