Subject: PDML Photo Annual 2008-2009 request
This email directed at all PDML Annual 2008-2009 book contributors. As a part of my preparations to try and get a TV documentary commissioned about the PDML and its worldwide contributors, and about how you folks have started publishing a book of your work every year, I have produced a short video test. I have used some of the pictures in the book (2008-2009 PDML Photo Annual) in the video and what I need is your permission, if I have used your pic. Can you have a look at the video, and if I have used one of yours, can you please let me know (off list if you like) if you have any objection. Bare in mind the video is purely for viewing by professional TV producers and not for general public consumption. Also bare in mind it is part of a proposal, the other part being a written synopsis, and so the video itself it out of context. It simply gives an idea of one small part of the intended production including an idea of characters, scenics, style and some content. Note that there is a particular Nikon photog featured, but this is because I already have this footage and had no time to shoot similar stuff at GFM last year. Pretend it says 'Pentax' on the camera and you'll get the idea ;-) If the documentary is commissioned then it will all have to be shot again from scratch so perhaps everyone will get a chance to be in it. Timescale-wise, I think its doubtful that it would happen this year, but never say never. It runs 12 minutes and can be found here: <http://www.vimeo.com/9087452> password: pdml -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ---------- http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
