Yes - I have the Modern Photography September 1982 issue right here. The top shutter 
speed of the FM2 is 1/4000 and - it is a bit difficult to decipher from the graph but 
I�d say the difference is about -10%, but actually faster than indicated.
As I said in my introduction, old cameras are my speciality.
