Several people seem to have taken the analogy between acoustic mucical instruments and manual cameras and extended it to the point where it breaks down (as do all analogies when you keep extending them). The result is even sillier than the arguments that take place here on the PDML about MLU, autofocus and digital photography! Anyway, to appease the slavering mob (OK, just two or three anal retentive twits) I've removed all references to musical instruments and substituted lawn mowers.
