should you really need such a thing, Apple sells an external modem the size of a pack of gum for $30; a while back i got one in a bag of stuff at a yard sale for $2 and got it for the sense of readiness it gives me (smile), though i have not used a modem for 5 years or so (sent one fax maybe three years ago, but used an online service)
