Cardinal in a damaged (as of this morning) tree, by the window.
Just far enough away that I want more magnification than the
28-135 zoom; well short of the minimum focussing distance of the
400/5.6. I have a screwmount bellows with me, but no K-mount
extension tubes. Pretty, pretty bird, could you please back up
another meter and a half?
(Two more males and at least one female sheltering from the snow
in the same evergreen, but too low down to see without the
windowscreen in the way.)
