I think it's a great shot.  I don't see a washout problem here, it's
difficult lighting and I see lot's of detail in the lightly colored
rocks as well as the darker areas. My only thought, had I taken the
shot, is that the tree is just a little awkwardly positioned too close
to center.  A little further to the right would probably make it feel
slightly more balanced, rising above the right sight of the foreground
rock as opposed to the left.

Easy for me to say without knowing what was cropped out of the frame.
