Aren't we getting close to the next big photography trade show? If I were to get one, I wonder if I'd be better waiting until after any announcements are made, new models often drop the prices of the old models. Though as much as I'd like a "K-7x", I might be better off replacing the K100 with a K-x immediately, then waiting and replacing the K20 with the latest and greatest when the prices fall.

If Pentax actually does announce the 645D, I wouldn't be surprised if that was all that they announce. Likewise, if they start working on a 24x36 sensor body, I wonder if it would use the 645 mount rather than the K-mount, as long as they're developing new lenses and all.

If I were to get the K-x, one big question I have is whether to get red, or white. I like the idea of being able to tell which camera is which at a glance, from across the room. Candace's stormtrooper K2000 looks really sharp, but the red could also be a lot of fun.
