Ok, so I am very new to Lightroom, and it is confusing the CRAPOLA out of me!
I was so used to using the Adobe Raw Converter in PS, and simply highlighting all of the shots that I wanted to apply settings to and hitting "synchronise". But with Lightroom, unless I am missing something (which is probably REALLY obvious!), I seem to have to "copy" and "paste" settings to only one file at a time.? Next, this whole Catalogue thing is supposed to make organising your files easier isn't it? Cause I can't follow it at all, and can't seem to find anything easily! How do I add new files to folders without having to add the entire folder all over again? I LOVE the Slideshow function (although wish it was viewable outside of LIghtroom), and the Web tab makes some really nice galleries too (but does anyone know how to give the galleries custom backgrounds, instead of just plain colours?), but the rest has mostly got me lost. For the life of me I can't work out how to use the Spot Removal tool, or the Red Eye correction, or the adjustment brush features either! I think I'll just throw in the towel and go back to the Adobe Raw converter and PS CS4, at least it does what I ask it to do! Lol. Anyone know of a good, simplified tutorial source on the net that might help me out a bit? Thanks heaps!
