Rob, Tan, Cotty .... thanks!
Eureka! I found Movie maker... (I DO have XP) Looked like fun ...
thought I was getting it.. but couldnt find
any controls for things like brighten or color changes etc.. and I did
look at the help menu. Any clues about that? If I "make" the movie,
does it get saved as another type (get a different file extension) from
AVI ?
I was about to scold Rob for not telling me what the thing was called
but Tanya called it by name... too
simple by far :-) there it was in my list of programs.
Now what I hope someone will say is that I can make a clip, save it and
the file extension will be one that
is compatible with Adobe Elements 5.0 ... or my darkside file editor
that I never use.
Movie Maker doesn't have any controls for image manipulation. And as far
as I know, the only file type you can save it as is a Windows movie file
".wmv"
All Movie Maker does is allow you to string together still images and
video clips and add a soundtrack.
I had to make a homemade music video for a class one time. The
instructor recommended using Power Point, but I couldn't get the timings
right so that the images would sync with the music.
Movie Maker will do that.
