that makes total sense (and is why i stated my preference as a personal one); i was a Photoshop jock in the early 90s, and am still very facile with Adobe apps, except i don't use Bridge; i also used iView Media Pro quite a bit and built media management tools in FileMaker; as Adobe has drifted into its own, OS-independent, interface paradigm, i've found the UI of Adobe apps to be less intuitively discoverable for me

"intuitive" doesn't necessarily contradict "logical", it is based on the experience one already has; i suspect that if/when my usage becomes intensive, Lightroom might be the more effective UI; but i hope Apple remains competitive because Adobe needs that
