Good work - rather pretty, and the workmanship looks impressive.
(And, I'm not a lizard skin fan, either.)

However, for myself, I would not be interested in them unless they
were available in black.  Like Cotty, "I find the contrast between
metal and wood rather jarring".  Also, I tend to prefer a "stock
look" (rather than a "custom look") for accessories, even if the
custom part is an improvement.  Of course, many will really like the
"wood look" just fine, especially those used to wooden grips on
their medium format bodies.

As for the extra lug, I wouldn't mind if it were available for those
that want it as an extra-cost option, but I wouldn't want to be
stuck with it (and paying for it) if it were "standard".

It's gonna be tough to get the cost down, though, on these
labor-intensive gadgets - it's a good thing that we LX-ers are used
to spending lots of money on accessories already - <g>.
