split threads implies that the dupes have different message-ids -- can
someone who understands what i mean check that? doesn't make sense
because the message-id should be generated at the sender
'course it depends what mail client and settings; tbird can be strict or
not, gmail and Apple Mail are not strict; so many people won't see the
thread splitting (i don't, because i've set tbird non-strict to cope
with some lousy Web Crossing-based lists)
